I love that I have an opportunity to share with you what God is doing with all of us here at JP. My hope and prayer is that you find some way to get yourself involved, moving and active within this awesome body of people who seek and face of God and FIND HIM.

Sunday Morning Worship!

There is nothing better to me than worshiping our Jesus together. To be able to hear your voices lifting Him up… that’s what the Worship Ministry is all about. We love to sing all kinds of praise and worship music. We make a point of singing scripture, of incorporating hymns, and turning up the volume with contemporary praise. We love it all! Our instrumentalists and singers are all actual members of this church who desire that the Lord be magnified!

Minstry of Music!

We realize that our job is ministry – ministry to God, and ministry to you, the body of Christ. In order to do this effectively, we make sure that our hearts are turned toward God, and not toward entertainment. We want time to worship God and than present a chance for you to receive ministry, too!

Audio/Visual Technicians!

This department operates and maintains audio, lighting and sound systems for Sunday morning services, as well as concert events, and seasonal productions. There are a number of technical and non-technical positions for which you can volunteer no matter what your level of skill!

* Set up and run various soundboards throughout the building for Sunday Services and many other events
* Recording and duplication of the services
* Set up and run outside events
* Lighting Technicians – design, maintain and facilitate lighting needs
* Stage Crew – assisting in platform set up and tear down for Sunday services and special events as well as other backstage needs
* Oversees all visual content of the service and or event
* Camera Operators run cameras during Sunday services and other events
* Video Director directs the camera shots and edits what is necessary for the recording of the service or event

Song writing is such an amazing gift. We have our own people coming up with the most amazing music and lyrics. I love giving our people the chance to have their music completed and added to our worship sets. Have you got a song or melody? Do you need someone to help you with it?
